What this site is
tmcmatch.co.uk is an independent publisher of buyer-side guidance on business travel management in the United Kingdom, and an advertising medium for travel management companies. It is operated as a commercial publication.
What this site is not
tmcmatch.co.uk is not a travel management company, a travel agent or a tour operator. It does not sell, book, arrange or take payment for travel of any kind, it holds no client money, and it holds no ATOL. The prohibition in regulation 9(1) of the Civil Aviation (Air Travel Organisers' Licensing) Regulations 2012 applies to a person who “makes available flight accommodation”; this site does not do that, and so needs no ATOL. It is not a member of ABTA and holds no IATA accreditation, because none of those apply to what it does.
Nothing on this site is procurement advice, legal advice, tax advice, health and safety advice or financial advice, and nothing on it is a substitute for taking advice on your own facts. The pages describe how the rules are written and what to ask; they cannot tell you what is right for your organisation.
How this site is paid, in full
Travel management companies pay tmcmatch.co.uk a fixed advertising fee for each enquiry passed to them. That fee is agreed in advance. It does not vary with the size of any contract that follows, with whether any contract follows at all, with anything a supplier charges you, or with any commission or supplier income a supplier earns on your bookings. We receive nothing at all from you.
We do not rank, score or recommend suppliers, we do not operate a shortlisting or matching service, and we do not publish reviews, ratings or awards. Enquiries are passed to travel management companies advertising on this site without independent review by this site, and this site does not attempt to identify the “right” supplier for you. Any assessment of whether a supplier suits your organisation is yours to make, which is why every criterion on this site is published with a route to verifying the answer yourself.
What happens to what you send
Details submitted through a form on this site are passed to no more than three travel management companies advertising on this site, so that they can contact you about the requirement you described. Each may contact you once about it. We do not sell, rent, publish or otherwise disclose those details to anyone else, and we do not add anyone to a marketing list.
Consent is not a condition of anything. Every page, table, diagram and template on this site is free to read and use without sending anything. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying to any message you receive or by writing to contact@tmcmatch.co.uk.
On the point of law: the Information Commissioner's Office takes the position that the electronic mail marketing rule in regulation 22 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations does not apply to corporate subscribers, but that an email to a named individual at a company may still be to an individual subscriber. We therefore take consent from everyone rather than relying on the corporate-subscriber position.
Accuracy, dates and corrections
Every figure and quoted provision on this site carries the source it was read from and the year or tax year it belongs to. Rates change: Air Passenger Duty is uprated annually and the rates published here are the ones in force from 1 April 2026. Regulations are amended. A figure quoted here against a later year may be wrong for that year, and the date on each page is the date its sources were last read end to end.
If you believe something on this site is wrong, write to contact@tmcmatch.co.uk with the page and the source you think it conflicts with, and it will be checked against the primary source and corrected or removed.
